Mouna Vyakhya prakatitha, para,

Brahma thathwam yuvanam,

Varshishtha anthevasad rishiganai,

Ravrutham brahma nishtai,

Acharyendram kara kalihtha chin,

Mudram ananda roopam,

Swathmaramam mudhitha vadanam,

Viswam darpana drusyamana nagari,

Thulyam nijantargatham,

Pasyannathmani mayaya bahirivoth,

Nanachidhra ghato dhara sthitha maha,

Deepa prabha bhaswaram,

Jnanam yasya thu chakshuradhi karana,

Dwara bahi spandathe,

Deham pranam api indryanyapi chalaam,

Budhim cha soonyam vidhu,

Stree balandha jadopamasthvaha mithi,

Rahu grastha divakarendu sadrusho,

Maya samachadanath,

Sanamthra karanopa samharanatho,

Yo abhoot sushuptha pumaan,

Pragaswapsaamithi prabodha samaye,

Balyadishwapi jagaradhadishu thadha,

Sarva sva avasthasthaswapi,

Vyavrutha swanuvarthamanamaha ,

Yo mudraya bhadraya,

Viswam pasyathi karya karana thaya,

Swa swami sambandatha,

Sishyacharya thaya thadaiva pithru,

Puthradhyathmana bedatha,

Swapne Jagrathi va ya esha purusho,

Bhoorambaamsya anilo ambhara,

Maharnadho himamasu puman,

Ithyabhathi characharathmakamidham,

Yasyaiva murthyashtakam,

Lord Dakshinamoorthy:

Dakshinamoorthy means the one who is facing south. Dakshinamurti is an aspect of Lord Shiva as a Guru and Dakshinamoorthy Puja is a superb puja that helps students at all levels to excel in their studies and education. Lord Dakshinamoorthy symbolizes ultimate and supreme awareness, understanding and knowledge. Dakshinamoorthy can be the greatest Guru of music, dance and other art forms. Dakshinamoorthy type of Lord Shiva is known as in order Shiva was seated facing south (Dakshina= south) when he taught the mind-born (manasaputra) sons of Brahma in a secluded spot on the Himalayas. The Dakshinamoorthy type of Lord Shiva has three eyes and four arms and among the legs is tramping on Apasmarapurusha.
